WELCOME
Community consultation has consistently identified cleansing as a high priority amongst people living and working in the Partnership Council area (Area 4).
A steering group, made up of local residents, officers of the City Council, Partnership Council staff and representatives of the business community started to try and develop some short, medium and long term answers to some of the more complex problems related to litter and rubbbish such as fly tipping, student landlords and public attitudes with an aim to creating sustainable solutions.
The Inititaive has carried out a number of projects and work since 2001 including clean-ups, campaigns, educational work and service change.
The Initiative was set up and is facilitated by the Partnership Council - a local community partnership working across parts of inner-city Nottingham (Area 4).
